AbilitiesSoft Inc.

About the company

Abilitiessoft, Inc. has been dissolved, but the website and email addresses remain. The mission of AbilitiesSoft, Inc. is to develop softwares and provide STEM services for people with disabilities which are available without cost. ,We pursue our mission in a number of ways. First, there is Open Source software development, which produces software available to anyone, including the source code. For this we seek donations, grants and volunteers. second, there is contract work for manufacturers who wish to expand the usability of their products for people with disabilities. The two are not mutually exclusive. The latter type of software may be free (in binary form) but is not necessarily Open Source. Contracts help to provide the resources that make strictly Open Source development possible. Third, we may help manufacturers test the software that accompanies their hardware. Fourth, we may provide stipends to developofs of Open Source products. If you are interested in any of these activities or would like to request development of particular software or service, please send e-mail to john.boyer@abilitiessoft.org AbilitiesSoft can also serve as an incubator for projects which grow and become more or less independent, as you can see in what follows.

Software Projects
